Job Specification - Technical Project Manager
The Role:
We require an additional Project Manager to manage the Company's provision and delivery of Contact Centre systems to our clients. This would entail defining business needs and developing high-level specifications for systems, services, and technical solutions; taking ownership of the full project management life-cycle from initial pre-sales meetings to go-live and sign-off. The person would hold a key anchoring role ensuring that all teams (Sales, Support, and Development) work in synergy to meet project requirements.

There would also be a requirement to manage projects with Strategic Partners and Suppliers, and to create and ensure excellent levels of collaboration and communication between all parties.

The successful candidate will report to the Technical Operations Manager and work from our offices in Central London.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The role will involve: :
  • Strong Customer Focus
  • Awareness of necessity for diplomacy in written and verbal communications to build and maintain relationships.
  • Communication and resolution of risks and issues before they reach critical mass
  • Project-Management and implementation of customer orders
  • Proven Methodology Application (PRINCE2, ITIL etc.)
  • Ensuring key dependencies are documented and managed.
  • Awareness of need to meet timescales and budgetary requirements.
  • Overseeing installations and go-live events.
  • Liaising with partners and suppliers.
  • Full documentation of activities
  • Creation of Executive Summaries (Project Statuses, Meeting minutes/ actions etc.)
The Person:
Essential:
  • ITIL
  • PRINCE2
  • Education to degree level
  • Knowledge of IT and telephony technology
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to think strategically
  • Excellent team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent man and project management skills with proven leadership qualities
